Beautiful....poised on the May River Bank, this landmark is worth seeing! Walk the grounds, read, and explore. Sit on the lush landscape and have a picnic! It is a treat for all ages. Across is the Wright Family Park- another gem in the crown of Old Town Bluffton SC! Enjoy a game of bocce on the lawn, take in the view, swing on the tree swings ....just breathe in Bluffton history.
I attended the 10am Sunday mass. The church is beautiful inside and set on a beautiful property. The congregation was very welcoming and the service was a moving experience. I will definitely attend again.
Beautiful gothic church. An emblematic place due to its history, very well preserved. (built in 1854) The walks around here are very relaxing, with magnificent views. Its gardens are charming. Right next to it,is Wright Family Park, where you can sit down to rest and of course take nice photos of the Church of the Cross.

Such an excellent church to visit. Our docent was so knowledgeable about the church and it's history. I didn't realize the part of history it was involved in. They have an amazing pipe organ!
Beautiful wooden church structure and grounds on the bluff of the May River. We stopped by at the end of the day and the building was locked. A great place for pictures with bluff views.of the May River.
